You may contact the RDS NE at any point of your proposal development, but it is best to contact us at an early stage to discuss your ideas, particularly if you have a clear funding deadline in mind.

The earlier we get involved, the more help we can be. If you contact us too close to the deadline, our resources may already be committed and we may be unable to assist.
